Product Profile of Ball Valves [series 6]

Ball valves are proven in practice: wherever aggressive gases and liquids are safely and reliably shut-off, isolated, mixed or distributed, a ball valve is the ideal partner for various tasks. There is hardly any pressure loss when they are used and the power consumption is very low compared to other shut-off fittings. The high safety and reliability of the ball valves is due to their design features:

• The shut-off body comprises a ball with a hole drilled through it.

• When the valve is open the entire cross-section is clear.

• The ball manufactured in one piece with the stem is centred by sealing sleeves; stem sealing using an o-ring provides sealing upward.

• All valves are manufactured as standard with female threads, a very wide range of connection modules can therefore be used.

• The valves are available in various plastics and in a wide variety of types - from the 2-way ball valve to the 5-way ball valve resulting in a wide range of possible applications in practice. 7-way, 9-way or 11-way ball valves are available as special versions.
